Utopia means no place.Ectopia sets a condition out of place. In the fact that the ideal of the Utopia is not attainable we adopt the greek medical term “ectopia”, means the abnormal displacement of an organ to another location than the usual. Associating these terms (‘utopia”/”ectopia”) together, we structure a laboratory – installation in which the ideal is consideredanything unexpected that happens. This installation entails the sociopolitical meaning and dimension of the”domino effect” .Under this light, the objects, machines and the actions could be seen as acquiring a more metaphorical meaning. Using widely contrasts of sizes, structures and function modes among them, we create a fragile dynamic, which gives the impression that a single movement could make them all crumble and topple each other as well as the one unexpected event lead to the other.
